Oooo--wanna check this out. I've got a fascination with gangs and the underworld. Just cause it's a force that makes the world go round. Stacey Peralta (known of this guy since Powell Peralta Bones Brigade) made this documentary on the 'Bloods & Crips: Made In America'.

Enjoy : Jazz
The other night my Uncle was in town and he always loves checking out live bands, world and jazz musicians. First we hit Wan Chai to check out some cover bands. It was kinda refreshing because it was so 'real'. Next, we rolled up to a spot in Central to hear some jazz music. That was 'real' in another way too. Mad talent and gettin' blow away by the music. So, getting back into listening to jazz these days; starting off with Miles 'Sketches of Spain' and Charles Mingus 'Ah Um'.

DJ Mofos
On Saturdays I get to play with 24Kit at the adidas shop in CWB. We play everything from hiphop underground and commercial; Kit likes to break into electro club music too. It's good for me because it gives me an excuse to keep diggin' for tunes. The other day, i took apart the mixer because the headphone jack got stuck. I was impressed I could take it apart but ended up didn't solve the problem. What ended up working was sticking a screwdriver and pile the bit out. Sophisticated.

Welcome 2009
You might have already seen the pics on Phat's and 24Herbs blog.
On the 1st Jan, we got a bronze award to take home for the new group category.
Now, there's nothing really to blow horns about getting third place. But, in our
case, kinda mindblowing for me. First, we're independent when we made our record.
Next, we perform in Cantonese and English. Then, we're like dudes on the mic.
But, last we play hiphop music. We never expected to be nominated or anything so,
this is really a nice bonus and good start to the year.
That night, was cool for Hiphop in Hong Kong. Jin got his award for ABC, Fama
got an award for their song. 24Herbs got one too. So, hip hop was definitely making
some noise in the building. Got to shout-out to Khalil Fong too, his music is amazing and
his awards were well deserved.
In 2009, I already feel there are alot of changes for me...go with the flow and travel on the path
that presents itself.
