Last Friday Flow-A-Tree

...Last Friday events. Guess y'all know, i've been on the computer a lot...time to get out of the house! I've been travelling inward too...but need to put my feet back in reality. So, just went with the flow, see where things take me. First stop, meet with JBS and Kit to holla at Tat Addicts; Phat's new book release. Met with JBS and we went to say hello to Jason at 55DSL new shop. It's a temporary store for the next two months. I like the store front, peeps check it out.





Then into a cab and...TatAddicts! Congrates Phat. Dude's been working on this project for a minute, so it was good to see it realized. The book fair packed...bookworms...myself included...good to see all friends again. Crazy book, you guys must check it out.












That was my first time at the book fair. I love books. Majority of them were in Chinese, great bargains, lots of knowledge! We (goodfellas) kept our eyes out for the "lang mo" section, but, without guides we were lost in the crowd. Anyways, Kit, LeeHawk, 3Dom and I jumped in a cab to CWB for some Tsui Wah. We could snipe there...After gettin' some food inside, we then stopped at 8five2 Shop. A pleasant surprise; lots of peeps and homies. Thaitay crew, Wza, 1626.com.cn, Mark, 5long and of course JBS and Annie. The party starts here...where's the Red Bull, i brought my own vodka...






After hangin' out at the shop, went home to chill out, then, go to support 85up2 and their mixtape party. I love raw DIY happenings. Reminds me of good times playing in bands back in the day. It's cheesy, but 'doing something for the love' is a great feeling. I'll always support that-especially when it's that 'beat and rhyme'. That's what was happening here. The vibe was cool, lots of HKs best rappers were there; the up-n-coming rappers too; ciphers going on and good hip hop tunes. Plus there was beer! Which I ended up giving back to the street later that night...but that's another story. 85up2 thx for the props and congrates!

...we're conditioned to never look at beggars on the street. Even for 1 or 2 seconds. So, feel free to look at this pic for as long as you like. How do you feel? What do you see? Why does he have a pretty girl pic looking at him? Who is this person? How are we connected to him? One insight that came to me was; everyone is too absorbed in their own lives to notice u. You must notice yourself.

The past is as real as the present which is as real as the future. If something is not being observed it doesn't exist. I was enlightened this weekend, because I felt a connection with the Earth and its' ancient past. For example, past civilizations worshipped the God's that were literally in the sky. Planets were much closer to Earth. Saturn was actually what you would see when u look at up. It's would take different shapes and people interpreted them as Gods. It awakened me to a lot of things; the ancient symbols and why those civilizations were the way they were. Earth's landscape and sky was way different to what it is now. If we saw it now, it would be alien to us. I would say, this ancient history is lost to the majority of us. I wouldn't even know where to begin to connect back, but consciousness that we're connected to this Earth is essential if we're to move our civilization forward.

Amongst my friends, artist on this site, there's lots of talk about God these days. Maybe because there is a sense amongst us that we need to elevate our collective consciousness to a higher state. For a lot of people Religion is one way to higher consciousness. Understand that we were born with God inside us already. We are all connected. We are all from the same source. That source some call God amongst other names. God is everything and you are one with God. We can't always be in God-State, we are human. But, try to live consciously is something we can all strive to do.
